A method of continuously knitting a tubular knitting fabric without performing turn-around so that wrinkles are absent at the time of completion of the joining of gores when the sizes of the gores of the front and rear knitting fabric parts are different from each other. The position of a reference boundary part at the time of starting the knitting of the tubular knitting fabric is set so that the reference boundary part positioned on the opposite side of the joining side boundary part of the front and rear knitting fabric parts is put at the same position relative to the stitch of a non-joining side knitting width end part on needle beds at the time point of starting the knitting of the tubular knitting fabric and the time point of forming the gores even if the joining side boundary part of the front and rear knitting fabric parts is positioned between the front and rear needle beds by turn-around operation at the time of starting the formation of the gores by joining the tubular knitting fabric. This setting is performed based on a different between the front and rear sides of the gores and the turned around amount produced by the difference between the front and rear sides. After the front and rear knitting fabric parts are knitted from a knitting start position to a gore forming position according to the set position, the joining side boundary part is positioned between the front and rear needle beds by a turning around method, and the stitch of the non-joining side knitting width end part on the needle beds where the knitting fabric part with the small gore is knitted is turned around to the other needle bed and the gore is formed.
