PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for vulcanizing tires capable of improving a production efficiency while restraining the occurrence of the swollen-out rubber and provide pneumatic tires manufactured with this mold for vulcanizing tires. SOLUTION: The mold 1 for vulcanizing tires is equipped with a pair of the side molds 3 having side inner peripheral surfaces 3a and the sector mold 5 having the sector inner peripheral surface 5a. The side molds 3 have the side notches 9 on the sides of the side inner peripheral surfaces 3a in the side contact surfaces 3b, the side notches 9 curve from the side intersections 11 towards the side inner peripheral surfaces 3a, and the side notch angle (α1) is an obtuse angle.
