PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid storage container capable of reducing costs by a cost-reduction of a liquid detector for detecting a liquid storage amount while using an inexpensive material with a reduced durability for a flexible wall of a liquid detection chamber whose liquid storage amount is detected so as to detect a liquid storage amount in a liquid storage chamber. SOLUTION: The liquid storage container 1 is provided with a sealed space 3 as a pressurizing chamber into which a pressurized fluid is introduced, the liquid storage chamber 7 for discharging a liquid under pressurization by the pressurized fluid, and the liquid detector 11 used for detection of a liquid storage amount in the liquid storage chamber 7. The liquid detector 11 is provided inside the sealed space 3 while having the liquid detection chamber 21 interposed between the liquid storage chamber 7 and an external liquid consumption device, a moving member 27 movable in response to the liquid storage amount in the liquid detection chamber 21, and a detection means 35 for detecting a state that the moving member 27 moves to a prescribed position.
