PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication apparatus capable of providing image data and the like on optimal conditions in accordance with a device to be accessed. SOLUTION: The image communication apparatus is characterized in that it is determined whether a data transmission request transmitted from a network 30 contains predetermined character information and when it is determined that the data transmission request contains the predetermined character information, first display information data are extracted from a display data storage unit 13a and transmitted via an interface 14 but when it is determined that the data transmission request does not contain the predetermined character information, second display information data are extracted from the display data storage unit 13a and transmitted via the interface 14.
