PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device system capable of performing high-speed transmission by MIMO transmission even in a multi-cell environment used as an outdoor environment. SOLUTION: In a signal processing section 20 of a base station device 200 of the radio communication system, a vertical polarized wave reception power detection section 27 detects reception power of a signal received through vertical polarization antennas 10-1 to 10-3. A horizontal polarized wave reception power detection section 26 detects reception power of a signal received through horizontal polarization antennas 11-1 to 11-3. A terminal device antenna selection section 23 inputs to a switch 22 an indication signal for switching transmission signal generation sections 21-1 and 21-2 having connections with antennas, used for transmission to a communication request terminal device making a request to start communication among terminal devices, among a plurality of antennas based upon the detected reception power so as to reduce interference between polarized waves.
