PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability by eliminating the fatigue disconnection of a lead of a coil, and positively execute soldering on a substrate mounting surface by preventing the unwanted bending of lead terminals. SOLUTION: The surface-mounting transformer is configured so that an entangling portion 14a and a winding releasing portion 14b of a winding wire are entangled around a plurality of lead terminals 18 protruding in a horizontal direction from an insulative base 12 supporting a fixed core 13 having the winding wire. In this transformer, each of the lead terminals 18 is composed of a terminal 18a soldered to the substrate mounting surface, and a terminal processing portion 18b positioned above the terminal 18a and used to entangle the entangling portion 14a and the winding releasing portion 14b of the winding wire, and a portion between the terminal 18a and the terminal processing portion 18b is fixed to the base 12.
