PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass spectroscopy device enabling detection of dissociation-generated fragment ion of low mass by an ion trap. SOLUTION: The mass spectroscopy device has an insertion electrode of a shape split into two or more in axial direction arranged in the ion trap, and an electrostatic harmony potential is formed by DC voltage impressed on the insertion electrode, and ions in the ion trap are vibrated in axial direction by resonance excitation by an auxiliary AC voltage impressed between the split insertion electrodes, thereby, ions in a specific range of mass charge ratio are dissociated mass-selectively.
