PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recorder and a data recording system which rewrites optional data in two or more pieces of recorded data in synchronization with data recorded at another position. SOLUTION: When acquiring a video image and voice of a lecture meeting etc. by a data input part 13 and a voice input part 15 of a video camera 10 and recording them in a data recording part 14 and a voice recording part 16, the data recording system 1 acquires high frequency sound generated by a high frequency generator 20 by the voice input part 15 to record it in the voice recording part 16, and acquires the voice and high frequency sound by an IC recorder 30 arranged near a speaker to record them in a flash memory in the IC recorder 30. Thereafter, the high frequency sound recorded in the IC recorder 30 and that recorded in the voice recording part 16 are made to synchronize with each other to rewrite the voice data recorded in the voice recording part 16 is rewritten with data recorded in the IC recorder 30.
