PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cartridge which is not largely affected by a tilt or positional deviation of a reel, stabilizes a traveling position of a tape, and improves winding alignment. SOLUTION: The tape cartridge includes a case 1, a reel 2 arranged in the case 1, a tape 3 which is wound around the reel 2 with its free feeding possible, and a guide member 15 for guiding the tape arranged in the case 1. The guide member 15 is held at a prescribed position in the case 1 and supported by a supporting member 13 which is supported by the reel 2 without obstructing the rotation of the reel 2. It is preferable that the tape cartridge pushes an unwounded part 32 of the tape 3 to the wounded part 31 of the tape 3 at a point P, at which the unwounded part 32 begins to contact the wounded part 31, and is additionally provided with a pressing member 16 installed on a plinth part 23b.
