PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and light-weight suspension provided with a lift tub which has rigidity sufficient for performing loading/unloading and is not easily worn or destroyed at a contact part with a ramp. SOLUTION: The suspension 2 is constituted of a loading beam 2e and a flexure 2f. A magnetic head 1 is attached to the flexure 2f, and the loading beam 2e applies a load in a magnetic disk direction to the magnetic head 1 through a dimple 2d. The lift tub 2a is provided on the distal end of the loading beam 2e and is U-shaped, and the curvature radius R<SB>1</SB>of a bottom surface part 2b is larger than the curvature radius R<SB>2</SB>of a side face part 2c. When the lift tub 2a slides on the slope of the ramp 7, the bottom surface part 2b and the slope of the ramp 7 are brought into contact with each other. By making the curvature radius R<SB>2</SB>of the side face part 2c smaller than R<SB>1</SB>, the height h of the lift tub 2a is secured and the lift tub 2a is prevented from being bent by stress F received from the slope of the ramp 7.
