PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual makeup device allowing a user to naturally obtain a wear feeling by performing input display of an image in real time, and robustly detecting a characteristic point or the like. SOLUTION: This virtual makeup device displays the image wherein a color contact lens is attached to a pupil area of a person in a pseudo state. An image input part is a video camera, and inputs a moving image. A characteristic detection part extracts an outline of a pupil position and an iris area from the inputted image. A data storage part stores the information of a color, a texture, transparency, a size or the like in each kind of the color contact lens that is a target. A processing system determination part provides an interface allowing the selection of the kind of the stored color contact lens. An image processing part performs processing to a state that the color contact lens is worn to a pupil iris portion of a subject inside the image on the basis of data of the selected color contact lens.
