PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To brightly display the image of an ornamental symbol while suppressing both harmful effects of becoming hard to see the image of a symbol game and narrowing a game area. SOLUTION: A back light 200 has a light guide plate 201 and a left LED 211, the light guide plate 201 illuminates a liquid crystal panel 170 wholly to display the image of the symbol game on the liquid crystal panel 170, and the left LED 211 illuminates the liquid crystal panel 170 locally to display the image of the ornamental symbol on the liquid crystal panel 170. This constitution can eliminate a superposition of the left LED 211 in front of the image of the symbol game and freely fix obstructive pins within the game area of a game board without being obstructed by the left LED 211. This constitution enables to adjust the brightness of the left LED 211 and the brightness of the light guide plate 201 individually so as to brightly display the image of the ornamental symbol while suppressing the both harmful effects of becoming hard to see the image of the symbol game and narrowing the game area.
