PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyoxymethylene polymer that retains a stiffness/quality level inherent in a resin and has an excellent balance of toughness and molding processability. SOLUTION: This polyoxymethylene polymer is characterized in that it is prepared by using a polyether polyol-alkylene oxide as a chain transfer agent. The polyoxymethylene polymer is obtained by polymerizing (A) trioxan of 100 mol as a main monomer and (B) a cyclic ether and/or a cyclic formal of 1-10 mol as a comonomer, using (C) a polyether polyol-alkylene oxide of 1×10<SP>-8</SP>to 1×10<SP>-2</SP>mol as the chain transfer agent.
