PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens device capable of obtaining desired torque resistance by always integrally operating as a whole when performing various kinds of adjustment regardless of switching between manual control and motor-driven control for various kinds of adjustment and the reversal of positive and negative in the rotating directions of various kinds of operation rings. SOLUTION: The lens device 100 where lenses 210 and 220 are and/or an iris is driven by the manual control or the motor-driven control, includes: a lens barrel 260 for incorporating the lens and/or the iris and provided with a periphery part 264 on its outer peripheral surface; a sliding part 270 having a contact surface with the circumferential part, and capable of moving between at least two positions, that is, a manual control position and a motor-driven control position, and constituted so that the contact area of the contact surface may be larger when it is positioned at the manual control position than when it is positioned at the motor-driven control position; and a position switching part 330 moving the sliding part between the manual control position and the motor-driven control position.
