PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface layer heating treatment equipment that can continuously performing a heating treatment, wastes neither energy nor space, has efficiency, and can be made compact. SOLUTION: The surface layer heating treatment equipment which heat-treats a surface layer on an external surface of a cylindrical body and includes a holding means of holding a work to be heat-treated, a rotary driving means of rotating the holding means so as to rotate the work, a heating treatment chamber equipped with a heating means of heat-treating the surface layer, a work conveyance path which guides the work from the outside of the heating treatment chamber to the outside of the heating treatment chamber through a heating treatment chamber entrance, the heating treatment chamber, and a heating treatment chamber exit, and a work conveying means of moving the work on the work conveyance path to carry it in the heating treatment chamber and carries the word having been heat-treated out of the heating treatment chamber to the outside of the heating treatment chamber, is provided.
