PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide device and method for measuring microwave which can enhance sensitivity of the method for determining if any foreign substance is contained within material flow in tobacco processing industry, and/or sensitivity of the method for detecting mass, density and/or humidity of the material flow. SOLUTION: This microwave measuring device includes at least two resonator housings for determining measuring area on each case of measurement, where each of plural electromagnetic fields comprises one electric field 23, respectively, these electric fields are arranged in cavity towards mutually-different directions within each measuring area.
