PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction method of liquid that can improve the detection sensitivity in analyzing a sample using the reaction of the liquid and can remarkably reduce the variation in measurement values, a reaction vessel used for the method, and a lid of the reaction vessel. SOLUTION: The reaction vessel used for the reaction of the liquid comprises a vessel body section having a sample storage section for storing the liquid, a water absorbing property member to be installed in an upper part of the sample storage section, and a lid body of the reaction vessel to be installed in an upper part of the water absorbing property member.
