PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring a charge quantity capable of reducing measurement errors by reducing the effects of electrical fields and the effects of noise at discharge and solving the problem that measurement values vary due to differences of length and curves of cables. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a V/F converter 5 for converting a voltage corresponding to a quantity of charge detected at a charge detection part 1 into a frequency; a light projector 6 for transmitting frequency-converted electrical signals as light signals; a light receiver 7 for receiving the light signals as electrical signals; an F/V converter 8 for converting the frequency of the received electrical signals into a voltage; an A/D converter 9 for converting the converted voltage into a digital quantity; and a CPU 10.
