Heavy duty mobile crane has multiple axles with optional tracked supports for increased load capacity

A heavy duty mobile crane has a number of axles fitted with tires as well as having provision in the chassis for fitting additional tracked supports which increase the load capacity of the crane. The tracked modules are fitted on site either directly to the chassis or are fitted to the chassis on transverse supports. This enables the tracks to set at different spacing from the chassis to increase stability.
