Provided is a radio reception device capable of reducing the number of CQI bits to be fed back from a radio transmission device to the radio reception device. The radio reception device (100) includes: a channel estimation unit (102) for performing channel estimation to generate a channel estimation value; a ranking order decision unit (105) for deciding the order of a reception quality estimation value of each stream by using the channel estimation value; a CQI bit quantity decision unit (108) for distributing the CQI bit quantity to each stream according to the order of the reception quality estimation value of each stream; and a CQI quantization unit (109) for quantizing the reception quality estimation value of each stream according to the CQI quantization bit quantity of each stream, thereby generating a CQI (Channel Quality Indicator) of each stream.
