<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stabilizing pedal feelings created by a stroke simulator, in a brake control device having the stroke simulator. <P>SOLUTION: A master cylinder outputs a hydraulic pressure according to the operation amount of a brake pedal by a driver. The stroke simulator 24 has a first piston 70 which can be slid against an energizing force of a first spring 78 by introducing a brake oil into a simulator chamber 66 communicating with the master cylinder through a flow passage 68, and the first piston 70 creates the reaction force relative to the operation according to the operation amount of the brake pedal. The simulator chamber 66 and the spaces 96, 98 at the opposite side are communicated with a pressure reducing passage connected to a reducing valve of a wheel cylinder through a flow passage 80.
