<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat light fixture, capable of uniformly illuminating the whole surface without an invalid luminous area while keeping a thin structure, and further attaining a large light fixture having no luminance unevenness by connecting two or more thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This flat light fixture 10 comprises a light guide plate 22 diffusing and emitting light emitted from a linear light source 12 through a light emitting face face, a diffusion plate 24 diffusing the illuminating light emitted through the light emitting face 22a of the light guide plate 22, and a reflecting member 28 having a reflecting surface reflecting the light from the linear light source 12.
