PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for starting a multiprocessor system and a slave system for reducing the number of components with simple configurations. SOLUTION: This multiprocessor system is provided with a master system 10 and a slave system 20 connected through an inter-processor communication interface to the master system 10. The master system 10 is provided with a program ROM 13 for storing the start program of the slave system 20.
