PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel excellent in assemblability. SOLUTION: The lens barrel 300 includes a ring gear 303, a link 305, a third-group frame unit 315, third-group guide poles 70 and 71, and a base 321. The ring gear 303 and the link 305 transmit the driving of a motor unit 32. The third-group frame unit 315 holds a third lens group G3 and is functionally coupled with the link 305 through a link pin 309 and a fitting hole 313 provided between the link 305 and the third-group frame unit 315. The third-group guide poles 70 and 71 guide the third-group frame unit 315 in the optical axis direction of the third lens group G3. The base 321 substantially fixes the third-group guide poles 70 and 71. The link pin 309 and the fitting hole 313 are constituted to couple the third-group frame unit 315 with the link 305 by making the relative position of the third-group frame unit 315 to the link 305 close in a coupling direction crossing with the guiding direction of the third-group guide poles 70 and 71.
