PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular continuous hole excavating working machine capable of excavating a rectangular continuous hole while securing conveyance and movement of excavated sediment in an excavated hole. SOLUTION: This eccentric rotary cutter type rectangular continuous hole excavating working machine has a rotational driving device liftably supported to a support body erected on the ground. A plurality of excavating working rods having excavating heads at the lower ends are connected in a rotation transmittable manner at the respective upper ends to the rotational driving device, and suspended parallel to each other. A planetary gear device is mounted to each excavating working rod, in a position higher than the excavating head. The planetary gear device comprises a fixed sun gear which is a sun gear rotatably fitted to the outer periphery of the excavating working rod, and connected to a sun gear of the adjacent excavating working rod; and a planetary gear rotatably journaled to an arm fixed to the excavating working rod, and meshed with the fixed sun gear, wherein the gear ratio of the fixed sun gear to the planetary gear is 4:1.
