PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-water-curable adhesive in the form of slurry or paste containing lime as binder, and to provide a functional board prepared by using lime as an adhesive material doubling as a finishing material. SOLUTION: The non-water-curable adhesive in the form of slurry or paste is obtained by using lime, a chelating compound and water. The functional board is such that sheet-like or plate-like facing materials are laminated with each other via a lime-based colored adhesive material layer, wherein at least one of the facing materials has one or more openings and the colored adhesive material layer is exposed through the opening(s) to the outside.
