PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition having high elasticity and high breaking strength. SOLUTION: The rubber composition having increased elasticity while suppressing the lowering of breaking strength is produced by compounding 100 pts.mass of a rubber component composed of at least one kind of rubber selected from natural rubber and synthetic diene rubber with 30-150 pts.mass of a filler commonly used as a conventional rubber filler, (A) one or more compounds selected from two kinds of benzoxazine compounds having specific structure and (B) a novolak phenolic resin.
