PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool turret of a machine tool, with rotary tools mounted thereon, especially such as drills, milling cutters, which prevents a rattle, a vibration, and an impact load due to the vibration as much as possible, the rattle and vibration being caused by the minute clearances produced in connecting portions for rotatably connecting a driving shaft oriented in a specified direction in a turret head with the rotary tool indexed to a machining position, and also in sliding portions for the connection, prevents the drop of the life of the members composing the connecting portions and the members for carrying out the connections and the disconnections, and thereby prevents the deterioration of the tool life and the accuracy of a surface finish by smoothly transferring the rotation of the drive shaft to the rotary tool. SOLUTION: The rotation of the tool driving shaft 13 built in the turret head is transferred to the rotary tool 29 indexed to the machining position via a connecting shaft 65 provided so as to advance and recede in the axial direction of the tool driving shaft.
