A surface light source device (50) wherein light luminance nonuniformity and color nonuniformity are suppressed. The surface light source (50) is provided with a lenticular lens sheet (14-1) having a plurality of unit lenses (141-1) protruding to a projecting side, and a light source unit (100) having a plurality of kinds of light emitting sources (101) having different emission wavelength distributions. The unit lenses are arranged at substantially constant intervals along one direction. The light emitting sources of each kind are arranged at substantially constant intervals along one direction. The arrangement intervals of each kind of the light emitting sources along one direction are substantially equal.
