A filth boom is provided to prevent a membrane from tearing or turning inside out by opening cells correspondingly water pressure generated by a strong tidal current or wind velocity, to prevent the spread of pollutants by returning a cut-open piece to the original position quickly and shutting the cells and to prevent the adhesion of fouling organisms against a membrane by moving a cut-open piece of a cell according to the speed of a tidal current or wind velocity. The filth boom for coping with a tidal current and wind velocity and controlling fouling organisms comprises a membrane(10) cutting off the appointed part of the hydrosphere, a floating body(20) floating on the appointed part of the hydrosphere, and an anchor(30) fixing the membrane on the appointed part of the hydrosphere, wherein an opening and shutting portion(12) composed of cells(11) is formed on the appointed part of the membrane and each cell of the opening and shutting portion is formed in the type of a cut-open piece(13) by cutting open to be opened and shut naturally according to the speed of a tidal current or wind velocity to drop water pressure below the critical point enabling to support the membrane, and a restoring unit(14) having excellent elastic restoring force is formed on the cut-open piece of the cell to return the cut-open piece to the original position and to shut the cell. |
