<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element array capable of emitting high-quality light for a longer time, hardly affected by infiltration of moisture or oxygen in an emission area. <P>SOLUTION: In the organic EL element array comprising a light-emitting area (an area I) provided with a plurality of organic EL emission parts emitting light in an organic compound layer 104 arranged between a pair of electrodes, a protective layer 106 in contact with an upper electrode out of the pair of electrodes, a member 108 arranged on the protective layer, and an intermediate layer 107 arranged between the protective layer 106 and the member 108, a thinnest part of the intermediate layer 107 is to be located outside the light-emitting area inside the face (an area O). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
