<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fume cupboard that avoids an accumulation of harmful substances at the sidewalls and bottom of a working chamber in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The fume cupboard with the housing, in which the working chamber 3 is located which is open on one side, is provided. In order to reduce the risk of a blowout of harmful substances and in particular to avoid dead space areas at the internal surface of the bottom of the working chamber 3, a device is provided which blows in additional air jets 22 at an acute angle to the internal surface of the working chamber 3 in such a way that the additional air jets 22 lie next to the internal surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
