PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the intake air amount of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: In this internal combustion engine, a plurality of intakes valves 43A, 43B and an exhaust valve are radially disposed with respect to the axis of a cylinder. The internal combustion engine comprises a first cam and a second cam for preventing the intake valves 43A, 43B from being interfered with each other by openably controlling the intake valves 43A, 43B, specifically, outer valves 54A, 54B and inner valves 55A, 55B at different valve timings and different amounts of lift.
