PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing white EPDM foamed body. SOLUTION: The method for producing the white foamed body comprises a first process of producing a foaming resin composition obtained by addition and kneading of 10-30 pts.wt. of surface treated calcium carbonate as a reinforcing agent, a softener, a filler, a curing accelerator, a foaming agent and a vulcanizing agent to a rubber composition comprising 70-90 pts.wt. of a high ethylene type EPDM resin and 30-10 pts.wt. of the EPDM resin with high Mooney viscosity, and then forming an intermediate foamed body by heating the product foaming resin composition under pressure, and a second process of heating the intermediate foamed body under normal pressure to decompose the foaming agent.
