METHOD FOR PRODUCING MAGNETIC MATERIAL COATED WITH BIOLOGICAL SUBSTANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a magnetic material having suppressed elution of components composing magnetic particles as compared with that of the conventional magnetic material used for a refining treatment of proteins. SOLUTION: The method for producing the magnetic material coated with a biological substance comprises the following steps. (i) A step of applying a first film-forming material free of the biological substance to the surfaces of the magnetic particles and forming the first film and (ii) a step of applying a second film-forming material containing the biological substance to the surfaces of the magnetic particles obtained in the step (i) and forming the second film.
