摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a dynamic pressure-type bearing device, which sufficiently increases peripheral velocity when a shaft member, a component of a dynamic pressure-type bearing device, is ground, and suppresses sway in rotation to improve grinding efficiency, working efficiency, and quality. SOLUTION: The axis member 2 that is the component of the dynamic pressure-type bearing device 1 is flat contact supported at both ends in the axial direction by a pair of plate members 11, 12 and while it is rotated around the axis, and the outer peripheral surface is cut by a hone 14 while supporting the peripheral surface of the shaft member 2a in the shaft member 2 by a support member 13. A release member 11 is formed in a predetermined region of the rotation central section of the contact surface of at least a plate member 11 that is plane contacted with a flange section 2b of the shaft member 2.
