<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive organic EL display whose luminance can easily be controlled. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display 1 includes a control means 2 of performing general control over the organic EL display 1, a data line driver 3, a scanning line driver 4, a voltage supply means 5, a voltage generating means 6. and a display part 7. The display part 7 has a plurality of organic EL display elements E<SB>nm</SB>.
