PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience in document information management and document search, to enhance operability for the search by a keyword, and to enhance workability in search from a hypertext, by executing the search using a word not linked by clicking the word as the keyword, and by allowing a jump from the clicked word to a page to be searched similarly to a button of the hypertext. SOLUTION: A search engine-compatible interface means 104 assigns the word in a document displayed on a screen, transfers the assigned word to a search engine means 103, as a keyword, and displays a searched result input from the search engine means 103 on the screen, and a browser-compatible interface 105 executes the search (keyword search or/and full document search), using the keyword transferred from a browser means 102, and transfers the searched result to the browser means 102.
