PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail communication system, for further improving the use efficiency of a mail server and suppressing the communication traffic of a network. SOLUTION: The mail server searches, in transmitting an e-mail to a user A, attachment files of mails transmitted from the user A among mails received in the past (S14), and determines, when the attachment files are searched, whether the same file as the searched files is contained in attachment files of the e-mail to be transmitted or not (S16). When the same file is determined to be contained therein, the server deletes the attachment file determined to be the same from the e-mail to be transmitted (S17), and transmits the resulting mail to the user A (S19).
