PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flat a bank note received without preparing a special mechanism such as a pressing plate even when a curved bank note in a bow shape and folded bank note exist among the received bank notes. SOLUTION: In a bank note processing device 10 processing received money for receiving by conveying the bank notes inserted into a receiving port 11 to a storage 13 through a bank note conveying passage 21, media stored in the device 10 are accumulated on the bank notes after storing the bank notes inserted into the receiving port 11 to the storage 13.
