PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid for photosensitive layer formation excellent in temporal stability of electrical properties, and giving a photosensitive layer excellent in both of electrical properties and wear resistance when a photosensitive layer is formed. SOLUTION: The coating liquid for photosensitive layer formation contains a polyester resin containing a repeating structure represented by formula (1) and an antioxidant, wherein Ar<SP>1</SP>-Ar<SP>4</SP>each independently represent an optionally substituted arylene group; and X<SP>1</SP>represents a single bond or a bivalent group.
