PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage device in a magnet working machine, capable of monitoring the discharge from a storage battery so that the discharge can be suppressed. SOLUTION: A generator 2 is connected to an engine 1, and an output unit of the generator 2 is connected to a storage battery 3, and also connected to a magnet control panel 4 for controlling the conduction to a magnet M. The storage battery 3 can be charged by the DC power generated by the generator 2, and discharged to the magnet M. A reporting means 10 for detecting and reporting the discharge to the magnet M from the storage battery 3 is provided on a charge-discharge line 3a of the storage battery 3. The reporting means 10 has a current sensor 11 for detecting the discharge current of the storage battery 3 in the charge-discharge line 3a, and a diode 12 and a coil 13c of a relay 13 for running the current when discharging the storage battery 3 in an output circuit of the current sensor 11.
