PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a clearance from being generated between a scraper plate and a belt conveyor and to prevent an article to be transported from being passed through the scraper plate and being transported to a downstream side. SOLUTION: The scraper device is provided with a base 16 vertically movably provided above the belt conveyor 11; and a main scraper plate 22 crossing above the belt conveyor with a predetermined angle relative to the belt conveyor in descending of the base and guiding the article 12 to be transported placed on it and moved to a side in an advancement direction of the belt conveyor. The main scraper plate is vertically movably provided on the base such that a lower end of the main scraper plate is brought into contact with an upper surface of the belt conveyor by its dead weight in descending of the base. An auxiliary scraper plate 23 is provided on a downstream side of the main scraper plate and guides the article to be transported placed on the belt conveyor and passing through the main scraper plate to a side in the advancement direction of the belt conveyor.
