PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cup having excellent light blocking properties, and excellent sealability capable of preventing the content from leaking caused by sealing failure. SOLUTION: The paper cup comprises a barrel member using a laminate 10 for the barrel member including at least a paper base material 11, an aluminum foil layer 15 and an innermost layer, and a bottom member using a laminate 20 for the bottom member including at least a paper base material, an innermost layer and an outermost layer. The innermost layer of the laminate for the barrel member, the innermost layer of the laminate for the bottom member, and the outermost layer of the laminate of the laminate for the bottom member are formed of a resin layer containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer 21 polymerized by using a single site catalyst. The paper cup having the configuration is excellent in light blocking properties, and excellent in sealability capable of preventing the content from leaking caused by sealing failure.
