PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device for a vehicle and a display system for the vehicle which are excellent in drivability and contribute to safe operation while securing the visibility of a display device from a driver and a passenger. SOLUTION: The display control device 1 for the vehicle limits the amount of visual information which is displayed on the display device 2 mounted to the vehicle at least in accordance with the speed information of the vehicle 3 by a control means 21. As a method of limitation, the display information displayed on the display device 2 is to be made a simple indicator chart (b) which is different from a normal indicator chart (a) in accordance with speed information.
