BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ROLLING STOCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control system for a rolling stock which shortens a braking distance by reducing occurrence of skid and reduces the damage of a tread surface of a wheel. SOLUTION: The brake control system is equipped with a plurality of brake control means for generating a braking force in respective of a second axle to be a control target according to a machine braking force, a plurality of skid prevention control means which respectively deduces the degree of skid related to respective second axle and performs an opening/closing control, and a formation brake control means which calculates insufficient braking force which a plurality of brake control means generates among the braking force required for whole formation, decides the mechanical braking force shared by a plurality of brake control means, and indicates the mechanical brake. The formation brake control means 12 is equipped with a change means for dynamically changing the mechanical braking force shared by respective brake control means to be decided so as to satisfy the insufficient braking force based on the degree of skids deduced by a plurality of skid prevention control means 24.
