PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end chamfering device for a ruled line forming tape by which chamfering machining of inclined rims of both sides can be done at a blow by manual operation without requiring high skill. SOLUTION: The end chamfering device is equipped with a cutting means 40 having one cutter 45 formed into a V-shaped blade edge simultaneously cutting down both the side inclined rims of the distal end portions of the tape to be machined turned by manual operation by holding the tape to be machined with a treated article holding means 10 securing and holding the tape to be machined in a predetermined position and a positioning means having a positioning member 23 capable of going in and out and a positioning gauge.
