PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device capable of preventing an arm portion of a print head from bending when a load in the longitudinal direction is applied to a head portion of the print head. SOLUTION: This thermal transfer printer (printer device) is provided comprising a platen roller 3, a print head 2 having a head portion 2b pressed on a side of the platen roller 3 and an arm portion 2a having the head portion 2b mounted on one end portion thereof and the other end portion rotatably mounted on a chassis 1, and head portion pressing members 6a, 6b being mounted on a supporting rod 5 and pressing the head portion 2b of the print head 2 on the side of the platen roller 3, wherein the head portion pressing member 6b includes a contact portion 63b, and the print head 2 includes a contact portion 2l being disposed rather on the direction of arrow A side than the contact portion 63b of the head portion pressing member 6b and preventing the head porion 2b of the print head 2 from moving to the direction of arrow B by bringing it into contact with the contact portion 63b of the head portion pressing member 6b.
