PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clasp for a personal ornament, which is an improved patent of utility model publication H7-90, specifically for a bracelet that is operated with only one hand for allowing a clumsy person or an aged person to easily attach and detach it. SOLUTION: The clasp comprises two fastener bodies 2 having similar shapes, each of which has magnets 3 in a curved engaging part and a flat inner contacting surface so as to be attached by an attraction force of the magnets using either hand more skillful or less skillful than the other. A curved part of each fastener body 2 works as a safety-aid metal fitting called safety for falling-off prevention. To improve operation with the fingers of one hand, the end of the curved engaging part is slightly protruded from a surface part of the opposite fastener body when the fastener bodies are connected, and a semicircular projection part is arranged at the tip. Thereby, a user can identify a position of the end of the curved part and put the finger only by touching the connecter with the finger so that anyone can easily detach it only by slight twisting operation.
