<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel transmission method capable of improving reception quality. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of sectors for performing soft combining are determined corresponding to mobile-station position information to be inputted and/or a type of channel to be transmitted, in a base station used for a communication system of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system. A transmission signal including a pilot signal used for demodulation and data of the channel performing the soft combining is generated and transmitted to each of a plurality of the determined sectors. Consequently, the transmission signals from a plurality of the sectors are synchronously synthesized and received within the range of a guard interval in the mobile station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
